PETER M. DEEB, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

As founder and Chairman of Hampton Securities, Mr. Deeb has spent the last 25 years growing the firm into a leading investment dealer in Canada.  He has built a career developing proprietary investment strategies for individual and institutional clients. He brings with him a wealth of international markets experience and operational skills derived from years spent as an entrepreneur in a number of industries, including energy, shipping, real-estate, and finance.  Mr. Deeb has previously served as Chairman of the Ontario District Counsel of IIROC and as Chairman of its National Advisory Board as well.  In December 2019, Mr. Deeb was appointed as Chairman of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

RALPH LEAN, QC, ICD.D, VICE CHAIRMAN

A highly regarded business lawyer and a trusted advisor to clients that range from start-ups to global corporations. Since September 2011, Mr. Lean has been a distinguished counsel in residence at the Ted Rogers School of Management. In addition to his illustrious legal career at Heenan Blaikie, Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP and Gowlings, Mr. Lean serves on several public, private and not-for-profit corporations including  Score Media and Gaming and QMX Gold Corporation.  He is also an honorary consul to the Kingdom of Morocco.

JOHN H. SUNUNU, DIRECTOR

Governor Sununu is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. He served three terms as Governor of New Hampshire before being commissioned Chief of Staff to President George H.W. Bush, serving in the White House until March 1, 1992.

DAN MATHIESON, DIRECTOR & CHAIR OF COMPENSATION COMMITTEE

Mr. Mathieson is in his fifth term as Mayor of Stratford and has has been a member on numerous boards and committees in healthcare, municipal affairs, law enforcement, athletics, not-for-profits, universities and colleges. He is currently Chair of the Ontario Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), Chair of Kings University College at Western University, Chair of the Stratford Police Services Board, a member of the Board of Directors of Festival Hydro and Rhyzome Networks, the Stratford Festival, and the Advisory Board of the University of Waterloo-Stratford Campus. Mr. Mathieson is also a Governor on the Board of i-Canada and is on the Advisory Board for Walsh University – Institute for the Study of the Intelligent Community.

WILLIAM THOMSON, DIRECTOR & CHAIR OF AUDIT COMMITTEE

Mr. Thomson is the Managing Partner of Mercana Growth Partners, a merchant banking business focused on providing strategic advice, operational experience and financial acumen to develop and execute business plans and attract capital to enable entrepreneurial businesses to succeed. Mr. Thomson has 35 years’ experience in completing business turnarounds and sourcing private equity for emerging growth companies and management consulting.

MIKE HARRIS, DIRECTOR

From 1981 –2002, Mr. Harris served as Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Nipissing. From 1995 –2002 he served as Ontario’s twenty-second Premier. After leaving public office in 2002, Mr. Harris formed his own consulting firm. As President of SteaneConsulting Ltd. He has served as Director on several private and public boards, including Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., Colliers International Group Inc., and is former Chair for both Chartwell Retirement Residences and Magna International Inc. Mr. Harris was appointed to the Order of Ontario in 2020.
