PETER M. DEEB, CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFCIER
Peter Deeb began his career in 1986 in the construction and development field. Since that time his interests have expanded as an entrepreneur into a number of industries, including Energy, Shipping, Real-Estate, and Financial Services. In 1996 he founded Hampton Securities Limited; the wholly-owned Wealth Management subsidiary of Hampton Financial Corporation, and has seen it grow from a 2 person operation to one of Canada’s leading independent financial firms. Peter has previously served as Chairman of the Ontario District Counsel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and as Chairman of its National Advisory Board as well. In December 2019, Mr. Deeb was appointed by the Premiere of Ontario as Chairman of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
HAIDAR FLAHAT – CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Haidar joined Hampton Securities Limited in 2022 and is responsible for HSL’s compliance functions which include identifying areas of compliance and business risk. Haidar’s career in the financial service industry began in 1997 when he joined TD Bank Investment Services. Over the years, Haidar has held multiple senior management and compliance roles including CCO for Worldsource Securities Inc., and led the national branch manager compliance and risk team at TD Wealth Financial Planning. During his tenure, he gained insight and extensive experience in compliance oversight and the management of operational risk for businesses operating in a regulated environment. Haidar has also gained trading experience, risk management and regulatory requirements through managing trading specialties and high value clients and, for TD’s discount brokerage business, as group manager of after-hours trading and the international trading desk.
OLGA JURAVLEV – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, and achieving a designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Ms. Juravlev would go on to hold a number of roles in public practice with several Toronto based accounting firms. After joining Hampton in 2021, Ms. Juravlev would go on to serve as Chief Financial Officer as of April 2022, and today, continues to serve in this capacity. Olga oversees the firm’s financial, accounting, regulatory, and reporting functions on a day to day basis.
